Publication Ethics Guidelines

The publishing activities of the quarterly journal “The Archives of Automotive Engineering – Archiwum Motoryzacji” are conducted in accordance with the principles of research integrity, good publication practice, and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The purpose of these guidelines is to ensure a transparent, fair, and impartial publication
process, protect the integrity of scientific research, and guarantee the high quality of published
works.

These guidelines apply to all persons involved in the publishing process:

• authors;
• reviewers;
• editors;
• members of the editorial team;
• the publisher.

All participants in the publication process are required to comply with the principles of research
integrity, copyright protection, confidentiality, and accountability for their actions.
The Editorial Office does not accept any form of research misconduct, including in particular:

• plagiarism;
• self-plagiarism;
• fabrication or falsification of data;
• manipulation of research results;
• improper attribution of authorship (guest authorship);
• omission of persons who made a significant contribution to the publication (ghostwriting);
• citation manipulation;
• breach of the confidentiality of the peer-review process;
• undisclosed use of artificial intelligence tools in a manner that may affect the integrity
  of the publication.
